Greg "Ghostcrawler" Street Leaving Blizzard Entertainment

Greg "Ghostcrawler" Street announced on his Facebook page today that he will be leaving Blizzard Entertainment to pursue a "great opportunity for something new and exciting."

Ghostcrawler was hired by Blizzard Entertainment in February 2008, and was the lead systems designer for World of Warcraft.

Blizzard Announces Release Date for Warcraft Movie

Today Blizzard announced its much anticipated movie based on its massively popular MMO, World of Warcraft, will be released December 18, 2015.

I think I speak for all Blizzard fan-boys when I say "SQUUUUUUEEEEEEEEEEE!!"

Pandaria To-Do List

Hello everyone!

A few weeks (months?) ago I created my Pandaria to-do list highlighting everything I wanted to accomplish during the expansion.

For anyone that follows my blog, you know this wasn't my first to-do list...

Mists of Pandaria To-Do List
Cataclysm To-Do List Revisited
Pre-Cataclysm To-Do List

Unfortunately, I've been a ghost recently - playing WoW only once a week to run TK and Onyxia for the mounts. The middle of the expansion hit me like a sack of bricks and I've just been finding it hard to justify playing.

With the last patch of the expansion looming, I wanted to take a look at how I've done...

Leveling-

Get my Death Knight to level 90 (currently level 80)

Misc.-

~~Finish my Shadowmourne~~
~~Finish my Val'anyr, Hammer of Ancient Kings~~
Get the last of the Blacksmithing recipes I still need

Achievements-

Exalted with Avengers of Hyjal
Glory of the Pandaria Hero

Glory of the Pandaria Raider
Find people that aren’t failures to get my last WotLK raid achievement

PVP-

Get 100k honorable kills (still 12k away)
Get the Justicar title (grr WSG rep)

PAX East!

Hello internet!

I'm excited to announce I'll be attending PAX East in Boston next week (March 22-24).

In 2004, the folks at Penny Arcade decided they wanted a show exclusively for gaming. Sure, comics, anime, and other nerd hobbies were cool, and those activities all had their own shows… so what about games? From that idea spawned a small 4,500 person event in Bellevue, Washington, focused on the culture and community that is gaming.

Since then, the show hasn’t looked back. Doubling in size each year until venue capacities were reached, in 2010 the show expanded into Boston for PAX East, drawing tens of thousands of attendees in the inaugural year. The shows in Seattle and Boston represent the two largest gaming events in North America!

Veteran readers may remember I had the pleasure of attending PAX Prime in Seattle, Washington. I'm looking forward to attending my second convention to play some awesome games, get free stuff, and take some great pictures for the blog.

Blizzard sent out an email to the press a few weeks ago about something new being at PAX East. Rumors are swirling about the announcement which was purported to be the announcement of their next game.

Mists of Pandaria To-Do List

Hello everyone!

As some of you might recall, I'm a big fan of making lists (it might be my OCD). So, I'm revisited my pre-Cataclysm to-do list and creating my first Mists of Pandaria to-do list!

Below you'll find everything I hope to accomplish before the end of the expansion. In a few weeks I'll post and update so you can see how well (or poorly) I'm doing.
